The bond that was created between my past residents and I is something I will never be able to forget! I absolutely have adored everyone I have worked with as it is so special to me to hear about their lives, the things that bring them joy, the things they have been through, the good, the bad, the ugly I love to be a support system through it all. To me caregiving is more than just showing up for a paycheck. I've stayed in this line of work because I love every aspect of it. I am 38 years old and have been providing care since I was young. I first started out assisting my mom with care she provided for disabled family members. And when my mom became ill in 8th grade, I assisted with all of her care until she passed when I was 20 years old. From their I have worked doing in home care, facility care, and group home care.
