My job and my personality has always been helping people and particularly old and disabled and helpless. I am resident oriented, law abiding caregiver and love serving the resident with all my heart, soul and mind. I am fully dedicated to work and looking forward to dispense my duty with diligence and compassion. I am also very patient, dependable, trustworthy and attentive. The journey of becoming a caregiver began when I was little girl, whereby, I grew up with my mother who was a village traditional caregiver in an African setting. It was through this background that, i began the journey of being a caregiver mentored by my own mother. I took several courses to meet the state requirement of being a qualified Caregiver. I took course on CNA and attained a certificate in Certified Nursing Assistant. Through my practice as a caregiver, I love preparing for their meals and seeing a resident improving from one stage to another and being independent to dependent. I also like my personal accomplishment and very proud of my resourcefulness, flexibility and determination. I enjoyed mostly the routine activities of the daily living and taking residents for recreation centers and to their Primary Care Practitioner. I am proud because of my rewarding experiences in my life even with the difficult residents I came across and being able support them in daily basis regardless of anything.

I am honest, hardworking, experience, passionate, driven, dependable, highly organized and constantly set goals for myself. I am able to handle multitask. What attracted me to become a caregiver, i love making a difference in a family and their love ones life. I also love making a difference in a clients daily routine to wish the family could be at ease. It's very rewarding field where getting to meet all different kind of personalities.

I have been in the medical field for 15 years. I consider myself a very patient, compassionate, and caring person. I have learn a lot from my clients' life experiences, which I cherish dearly. I like to cook, bake, like to read to my clients, and love to involve them to stay active. I can provide references of happy previous clients.

I love taking care of people. I was born in American Samoa, learned how to cook at an early age. Love cooking, cleaning, organizing and being around people. I've tried many different jobs through out my life and have found the most satisfaction in caring for others. I enjoy helping others in any way I can. I'm a single mom of an 11 year old boy. I've been a CNA since 2001. I've gone to school at PCC, specializing in gerontology, end of life care, and dementia. I've worked in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in home. I'm a hard worker and am always trying to come up with new ways to improve the lives of the ones I care for.

I am an energetic, kind, and compassionate person who has dedicated the last 12 years to helping seniors age in place. Although my bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona is in Nursing/Biology, I pursued other career opportunities for much of my professional life. I returned to hands-on care 12 years ago because of the deep satisfaction I feel when I help a family honor their loved one's decision to remain at home, living as independently as possible. I am highly organized and I excel at coordinating all aspects of care, which enables family members to attend to their careers and commitments. I have experience as a Care Manager, hiring, training, and managing a caregiving team for a family that needed 24 hour care for their father. I believe that it is everyone's right to age with dignity and that life experience should be respected and cherished. Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. This desire also extends out to the people around me. As a caregiver, I go out of my way to ensure my client's needs are met before that of my own. I try to get to know each person as what they really are: an incredible human being, with a LOT to offer. I always try to learn something from my incounters, no matter how brief the engagement. I love helping people, I'm a very laid back chill person to be around. I feel that adds comfortablility and calmness. I choose caregiving to be able to help people and not be taken advantage of but rather have people be thankful and grateful for the help I have to offer. I enjoy being able to give the care people deserve and knowing the job is done right and people are not being mistreated. I'm proud to have been able to work with kids, young adults, adults all the way to hospice care. Its a blessing to be able to care for people and build companionship and trust.
