Hello my name is Roxanne Hodge.... I have been a CNA, PCT, Mental health worker for 43 years. I love my field of work, I believe it is my calling from God to serve and help others to heal, recover, and be comfortable in their home, hospital, rest home or mental institution as well as group homes. I have a great love for human life especially the elderly and children. I feel blessed when I am blessing others with their needs. If I can help somebody then my living shall not be in vein.

I'm a jolly joyful individual. Determined honest and my smile can light up a room. I was attracted to being a caregiver by helping my great aunt at young age. I then knew it was my passion to help others in the same predicament. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that I provide my best services to someone's aunt uncle mom brother sister or grandma makes me feel amazing knowing I did my best helps me to sleep at night . A personal achievement I am proud of is finally deciding to put myself first and take on my major goals of life.

I have been a caregiving most of my life and I take pride in caring for people I try to treat them like I would want to be treated and I have experience in bathing cooking housecleaning shopping running errands or just being a companionship's I am honest dependable easy to get. along with and I love the Lord and I love veterans my late husband was a veteran and died from Agent orange

I am Certified nursing assistant providing care to kids and adults for the past 14 years. I've worked in nursing homes, home care., assisted living and hospitals I am also CPR certified. I am patient, fun, loyal and reliable.

I prefer long assignments. 20+ yrs experience. Non smoker, non drinker, clean living, walk straight and narrow in life. Willing to travel with patient if needed. I can work in AZ, TN, NC, GA.( avail high desert ,mtn areas) Prefer 24 hr ongoing care. Respect and manners.

My initial interest in caregiving began when I started caring for my Grandmother who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 1987. I saw the difference it made in her life to have someone available and willing to help her with the things that most of us are able to take care of ourselves. We take for granted every day that we are healthy and able to perform these tasks. It is a blessing to have someone who is available to help us with these things when we are no longer able to do them. In my time as a caregiver, I feel that I have seen and helped with everything from the most basic needs to the most complex. There isn't much that scares me. I am easily able to let difficulties with even the most challenging clients slide right off my back. I have thick skin and I am not easily offended. When I accepted the position with Visiting Angels back in 2011, not only was I able to supervise a crew of approximately 65 caregivers but I had the opportunity to occasionally assist with filling in for those caregivers in the event of an emergency. Since moving here to Florida in late 2015 I have not had the opportunity to work directly with clients since my work now is mostly computer and phone related supervisory duties, remotely from home. I miss the hands on care and the one on one relationships that are formed when caregiving. I am very interested in helping to supplement my income while making a difference in someone else's life. Now that we have moved back to the Greenville, SC area, I am ready to get started!

I have 35 years of caregiving experience. Have taken care of patients from the age of birth to 101 yrs old. Worked with hospice care, psychiatrics hospital, parkinson's, cancer, the blind, cognitive problems, paralyzed patients, dementia and many other illnesses and diseases.

Passionate about quality and caring home care for those in need and desiring to remain in familiar surroundings during their golden years. I am an active semi retired caregiver. It has been said that I can work circles around those half my age. My background is that of a dedicated, hard worker that was taught how to be proficient yet caring in a time when a bedside manner was important. I started out as an aide and was taught and expected to manage in home care that today requires a two + year degree. I currently care for a gentleman during the week, part-time with dementia. After giving a two week notice my start date is flexible but I am available immediately for weekend position. I am an amateur chef. My passion is first and foremost my family. I am interested in genealogy, history, reading, journaling, gardening and non-political current events. I can hold an intelligent conversation and I am an excellent listener. I cared for my mother in home during the last six of her 94 years. She suffered with dementia, diabetes (insulin dependent), arthritis, incontinence and mobility issues. She wanted to spend her last days in her own home for which I am very thankful I was able to be instrumental in granting her wish. I have spent 30+ years, off and on, in the health care industry in positions of nurse aide and home health care aide. I have hospice experience. I value life and respect end of life wishes. I hope that as I age that I will have someone who will show me the same respect, care, empathy and loving commitment to my care as I provide to my patients.
