I'm a easygoing and energetic caregiver. Learning routines, meaning learning the way my patients/clients and theirs families would like things to be done is what made me a great caregiver. I love helping people who really can't help themselves feel a little better and feel comfortable is what attracted me to caregiving. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is the companionships and making sure they get to their doctors appointments and grocery shopping for them really brightens their day. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is taking care of my grandmother all the way until the end. I always made sure she was comfortable, happy and satisfied. she often told me how proud she was of me for taking care of her.

I am a licensed practical nurse of three years. I have a great love for the elderly and very much enjoy their company. I currently have began a job change from home health to hospice. I am on call over the weekends starting 5pm Friday. I am looking for something more to do with available time. I have experience working with the elderly both as a caregiver before graduation and as an LPN. I am looking to provide companionship and help with daily activities on an as needed basis.

My very first actual job was a CNA and I knew right away that it was the profession for me! I've always tried being the very best at treating others how it'd like to be treated! I look at each and every person I've ever cared for as if they were my own family and still keep in touch with many of them. I have a bachelors degree in liberal arts and science . I have aspirations to become a leader in nursing or administration . I have worked in level 1 hospitals such as Vanderbilt and even had experience serving our veterans though an internship.
