Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 8). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I have over 15 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I started out as a student at a small facility in malakoff tx, I got certified almost 3 years ago and learned quite a bit becoming a CNA. I have a big caring heart for the people I care for. I was attracted to go into healthcare after living in with my grandmother the year before she passed and taking care of her day in and out until her last days. I enjoy being the person people depend on to be there and I enjoy taking care of people as much as I can. And I am most proud of being the only to step up and take care of my grandmother and being able to be there for her day in out and getting to hear all of her stories even if she told me the same one 100x's over !!
