Throughout my adult life, nurturing and caring for others is something that has been very natural for me. I have had the great privilege of being a mother and raising 5 children and now the grandmother of 5 beautiful little ones. I've seen the need for more trustworthy, quality Caregivers and strive to be one of them. My desire is to improve quality of life and bring a sense of calm assurance and safety to others when their world has been shaken. I am level headed, practical minded and compassionate. In my experience, kind sensitivity can be healing in many ways. I've been afforded life experience in caring for my husband after surviving a plane crash and learning to walk again. A year later, our 8 year old son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I've learned a great deal through navigating the challenges of these life altering experiences. Both husband and son are healthy and well today. I've also had the opportunity to be a caregiver for local clients as well as my own mother after colon cancer surgery and assisting my brother in difficulties regarding Parkinson's. I will do all I can to assure that your loved one is safe and well cared for.

I love being around people, I am elder in my siblings, it has very positive effect on my calm and patient personality. I have worked in medical field for most of life, caregiving does not feel like job. one of the best enjoyable part of caregiving is, you get to hear different stories/experiences of the life. I have been doing Home Health since 2009. I have been doing live in Private Duty Home Care off and on for the same individual for the last 11 years. At one Home Health Company I was promoted from caregiver to The Assistant to the Administrator and I was given the position as Intake Coordinator.

It takes a special person to care for our elderly. I treat your family, like I would be caring for my own. I have been a CNA for over 12 years, working in a nursing home was not a good fit for me. So I left and have spent the last 10 yrs caring for people in their own homes. I have cared for the early Alzheimer's and watch them transition.
