I have been a trained caregiver for 18 years. I love helping people age in place. I find it so rewarding to help our seniors stay in their homes or wherever comfortable and do activities to help them feel youthful, like exercise and community outings. I am a strong advocate, especially for those who have loved ones who live out of town. I will take your loved one to appointments, gather detailed information, and repot back to you. I also take pride in the fact that I have been able to motivate seniors to take part in task they loose interest in like bathing and meals just to name a few. Strong empathy to surrounding individuals, compassion for life and everyone's feelings, pay strong attention to detail, ambitious, caring, willingness to go the extra mile. I've been a caregiver for over 5 years. My mother is severely physically disabled and needed someone to properly take care of her, that'll show up every day, who can be trusted and has the willingness and knowledge to perform tasks and duties. I like being able to make someone smile, to help them regain happiness and cope with their regression into older age. I know it's hard to accept limitations and I'm good at helping people to overcome issues that affect their capabilities. It's a great feeling knowing I helped them be more self sufficient or to know that I helped them be more comfortable if self sufficiency is not an option. I've helped my mother become less stressed and depressed. I've help her become comfortable because I know her needs and wants and cater to them as needed, sometimes before she even needs it.

I have been a CNA since 2004. I absolutely love what I do. I am organized and have good time management skills. I like to clean and I like getting to know people, I enjoy hearing about peoples lives and accomplishments.

Helping the disabled or the elderly is a passion of mine. I never thought that I could put a smile on someone's face until I became a caregiver. The reason I became a caregiver in 2009, I was sitting with a retired judge who made me take the caregiving route. I love listening to the stories they have to tell from back in the day. Being able to make them smile or even help them folding their laundry and seeing how much they appreciate what I do.
