I am laid back and easy going. My clients like me because I allow them to do whatever they're able to do. I only help them to keep them safe. I feel my client find their autonomy one of the most important things they have left. I love this work. I feel like I'm an important part of these people's lives. The one thing I hate is when I have to leave them for one reason or another.

I have been a Caregiver for both young and old for over twenty years, and now that I have earned my Certified Nurse Assistant certification from Hagerstown Community College, licensed with Maryland Board of Nursing as a CNA (license #: A00190777) and am soon to be registered with Maryland Board of Nursing as a Geriatric Nurse Assistant after having passed the state exam. I am ready to help more clients experience competent, compassionate, and overall excellent care.

I have 3 kids ranging from 6 years old to 18 months old! My 6 year old is Autistic but I manage well with everything! I always work everything at home around my work schedule! I am a girl that likes to be early to everything! Lateness is not acceptable! I have worked in Assisted living since I was 19 years old; from 2015 to 2020! I currently work with special needs adults in a care facility! Not only am I CPR certified but I have my Food Handler Certificate && I am COVID-19 vaccinated! I attended a school to help obtain my certification for home health aide under state of New Jersey and have experience in private home care, facility, and worked for agencies. I also did live in care and had special training with dementia care. I am very compassionate about my work and being able to help elderly patients and their families. I am able to provide good references and would like to help more patients and their families. I just recently got tested for COVID-19 and tested negative and have no problem with getting tested again if needed.

I am going to nursing school and wanting to become a registered nurse and I know I am meant to take care of people. I love working and I can never get enough satisfaction from what I do. I take care of people who is going through rehabilitation, dementia care patients, and assistant living patients. The range of age I have cared for with 51 being the youngest and 103 being the eldest. CPR certified. I love going home with a smile on my face because of my job. I am proud of working with co workers who are older than me but it does not make a difference and I used to train new employees on their job.
