My family does not believe in putting our elderly in a nursing home unless we cannot provide the proper care needed. It is very rewarding to make people comfortable and happy. I became a nurse after I had my child. I have 15 years of experience as a nurse and I'm CPR certified. I've been a nurse since 2000. I started by working in the hospital and moved into private duty nursing. I've taken care of people of all ages from preemies to hospice, from mental disabilities to physical ones. I love what I do. I'll admit I get car sick so riding around isn't a good idea for me but as long as I'm driving I'm good. I do clean while I'm working. Taking out trash, doing dishes that were used, laundry, and any other messes that may come up. I'm not someone that is always on my phone and I like to interact with the people I work with. I'm a great listener and a fast learner. I love working with and learning about new people. At the moment I have a vehicle from 9am until 9pm. I've alway been told that I'm a people person and can get along with anyone. And I really hope that I will get that chance. My rate is negotiable depending on care.

I feel caregiving/cna is my true calling. I enjoy helping clients with activities of daily living whom can't do for themselves. I enjoy learning about the lives my clients have lived and their families. When I have a client whom has Alzheimers or Dementia, I enjoy stepping into their world.
