I love what I do with a passion. I love most about my job is being able to help in such a time of need I love hearing the stories they have to tell me, and just being able to be a companion an assist them with daily task and activities, that may just be a Little harder at this moment. My compassion and empathy I believe make me a good care giver. I started in the health care field at 14 years old working at an Assisted Living Facality in Palisade, Colorado. I have done health care in varying degrees ever since (am 36 years old now) so for a total of 22 years. I have worked in Nursing Homes (as a CNA), Assisted Living Homes (as a caregiver / QMAP), Independant Living ( as a caregiver / QMAP), and Home Health Care.

I've been in the care field for almost over a year now, I am certified to pass Medication in the state of Colorado, and I am trained for transfers with gate belts. I've worked in dementia and Alzheimer's units as the lead QMAP, mostly at nights. I'm beyond willing to work in home with the patient and stay over night on weekends. I know I'm a little younger but i am well beyond my years. Im very energetic and a happy go lucky girl. I love music and sharing that with my residents.
