What I like about being a Caregiver is the diversity of my clients, everyone has a different story and background. I love to listen about their lives, accomplishments, family and loved ones. It's like watching a Classic tale of another time and these stories become part of my life, parts not to be forgotten. I love to put not only my heart into my work, but my sensitivity, compassion, laughter,attentiveness and honest character as well. I have worked with some challenging cases like Alzheimer's, Cancer patient's, Stroke patient's and other types of illnesses. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with and known my patient's, not just as patient's, but we became friends as well, and I was there when they needed me. I have been a CNA/Home Health Aid for several years, currently my license is inactive, but I still retain all the skills necessary to perform an outstanding job for you. I love to be a Caregiver and am thankful The Lord allowed such experiences in my life. I have worked as a Caregiver for over 15 years. Went to college for LPN. I enjoy working to help & care for people, it is very satisfying to me, I feel it stems from growing up in a large family. I have three grown children & care for three of my Grandchildren full time & love every minute of it, they all are loving, kind, generous, & intelligent for their ages. My personality traits are what makes me a very compassionate care giver, I'm understanding I don't get upset easily and I'm a great listener. The reason I became a health care giver is because my grandfather was put on hospice care and I would help the hospice nurses care for him being only 8 years old I seen the care he was given and I wanted to return that love to others. My favorite part about being a care giver is being able to get to know my patients really build a bond with them. I love giving care to others and being able to make a difference in their lives . One personal achievement of mine is receiving my Certified Nursing Assistant License it was the happiest day of my life.

I got into caregiving when my grandfather was sick with cancer. He was a very big inspiration to my career and I'm forever grateful for him.

I am a 19 year old part time college student and full time caregiver. I have always had a passion for caregiving ever since I took care of my now deceased father. Sadly, cancer took him away at the young age of 59. I enjoy getting to spend time with my residents and getting to know them. I absolutely love to care for the elderly because it reminds me of my dad and it makes me very happy.
