My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. Hello, my name is Angelica. I've been someone who goes above and beyond for people for as long as I've been able to. I have a kind spirit and making sure people are cared for properly has always been my main focus. It wasnt until highschool that I knew how to get started in a career that allowed me to do that. I've been a volunteer caregiver since 2019 and became certified and paid to do it starting December of 2020. Being as young as I am; I always had little nagging feelings about whether or not I was making an impact in patient's lives. It wasn't until I looked back at all the families I've cared for, as well as started working in a rehab facility, that I realized how much help I provide. I've had patients become emotional and show how grateful they are that I'm able to be so kind, patient, gentle, and humane all while making sure they are being taken care of fully. I believe that to be the thing I enjoy most about myself as a caregiver. It isn't "just a job," it's taking the time to help people who need it and treating them as the worthy people they are.
