I have worked in a caregiver role as a Social Worker for the elderly for 27+ years. I have previous experience as a caregiver in a home environment as well as in an adult foster care and assisted living setting. I worked in the emergency room of a hospital for 5+ years as an aide. I worked as an EMT for 15+ years for 3 different ambulance services. So, quite extensive experience working with people.

I have previous work experience in a Nursing home as a CNA, taking care of many different needs. Bathing, grooming, toilet care, mobility care, feeding etc. Also worked at Dungarvin in home care with four residents. There my responsibilities were, toileting, Bathing, grooming, preparing meals, passing out meds. I feel I am a very compassionate and honest person. I love listening to the stories each individual brings.

I love working with elderly and help them and make sure they get to there doctor appointments grocery shopping and remind them to take there medications and help them prep food for them and help them with some chores around the house and make sure they have clean clothes and i enjoy helping elderly people out i helped my grandmother for 15 years of my life

I am a 53 year old female that has been in Healthcare for 20+ years. I am a certified nursing assistant. I truly enjoy working with people and this is definitely a passion of mine. I am married to a wonderful man and together we have raised two amazing children who are now young adults on their own. I lost my job of 8 years recently due to the company down sizing. I want to get back into working with the elderly and giving them caring and compassionate companionship.

My passion for healthcare began about the age of five. For many years my dream career was to become a doctor. As I aged and researched into a career as a doctor, I realized that medical school was far too expensive for my financial situation. Regardless, of this financial set back, I knew that healthcare was the career field I wanted to pursue. I have always had a caring, loving, nurturing, helpful, compassionate, caregiver disposition and character. The greatest personal reward for me is the joy I feel at the end of each day knowing I have done something to make someones day happier, healthier, and more productive. I find joy in seeing others happy, healthy, and successful. I come from a life that was not easy so with all the little things I learned how to appreciate them at a young age .Thus being said I have had a natural compassion for kindness my whole life because I know that happy feeling when you get cared for or appreciated which makes it easy for me.What attracted me was just not having much family so taking care of people made me feel like I was part of a big family.I just love all the wisdom you can take in from all the different lives people have lived. I made 10 year at age 30 was a great achievement.
