Hello, I consider myself a warm, compassionate person with a gift of patience. I empathize with many because I know what it feels like to need someone one to lend a hand and how difficult it may be to ask for that help when needed. At age 15, I cared for my dying mother and father, and decided to dedicate my life to be of service to others who could no longer care for themselves. I can honestly say that care giving brings out the best in me. When I see a need, whether it be physical, mental or spiritual one, I am challenged to work with the families to help fulfill that need. Everyone deserves that kind of experience in life and I believe everyone needs somebody. I am very proud to be a caregiver for the last 35 years and the families I have met have enriched my life and have helped me grow as a person. I love being surrounded by older people, they are so full of wisdom and history. That is what drew me to being a care giver. I love helping them and being able to help and care for them as they once cared for me when I was younger. They deserve the best care and that is one thing I am proud of, giving them the best of me. I have been an elderly aide for 5 years and over with training in first aide and CPR. I am friendly, fun , patience , hardworking and very understanding. I do cook, run errands and any helpful thing I can do for my elders. I have experience in patients with dementia , alhziemer and alot of elderly related sicknesses. I do assist with showers, light house keeping, doctors appointments and companionship. I feel very rewarded and happy knowing I made someone else happy. you can count on me to keep your parent safe, healthy and active at home.
