Hi Everyone, my name is randnesha skinner,I like to be called nesha for short.I have a certificate as a Pca,Home care aid and also Certified Nurse assistant.I graduated last year with and Associates in science degree.have been in the healthcare field for over 10yrs and I love it.Im proud to be one of many to help the elderly with achieving their goals and daily living activities.

I became a caregiver to help those who need help. I love to see the client/patient regain their independence. Some do not recover however, and making them comfortable is very important to me. When I do my job properly and the patient is content and happy.

HELLO! My career as a caregiver started with a chronically ill father. Throughout my childhood and in my early teens my dad was very ill with diabetes Type 1. When I was 5 years old my dad lost his eyesight. As a preteen I participated in his care helping with blood sugar readings and Insulin injections. When I was able to drive I help out by taking him to doctor's appointments. I went away to college and lived in Florida for a few years and as my dad became progressively worse I moved home. I became increasingly involved in his care as my mother was worn out and had a very full-time job. At that point I decided to change career paths and go to nursing school. My love of taking care of people is a direct result of the experience I had administering Loving Care to my father . I considered to be a dedicated and resourceful Private Duty Nurse. With an exceptional record of in-home health care provision I am able to function well independently in home medical emergency situations and to coordinate regular care regimens with physicians and other hospital staff. I have worked in places from the ER, to the hospitals, nursing homes and in people's homes. I believe your loved one has the right to live the best life they can even when they are not feeling their best, battling a sickness or are elderly. It's not my job to be their boss as I work for them. I enjoy seeing them still do whatever they can to live the best life they can. I love helping people it gives me a sense of joy and warms my soul. It makes me a better person, it has taught me patience and to enjoy every moment of everyday even when it's not the greatest of days. I am proud of the mom I am. My children have the same compassionate spirit as me and enjoy helping people. I truly love what I do and the community of people that I have the pleasure to share my time with.

I am great with kids and people just in general. I love to make people happy. I have a great sense of humor and also love making people laugh.

I have been a CNA for over 20 years. I started when I was 19 and fell in love with taking care of the elderly. I worked in Nursing Homes the majority of my career but within the last 3 years, have been doing in home private care. I love doing private care because it allows me the one on one time with my client that I was unable to have while working in a busy nursing home setting.
