I have big heart for the elderly and have been in home health care for 7 years. I am passionate about my work because I love what I do. I have experience with Parkinson disease (three years).

I became a caregiver at a young age by request but as I got older it was done by choice. Caring for the elderly gives me satisfaction knowing that I can help people in a personal way. I love making people laugh. It's my way of adding sunshine to their lives. Several seniors I have cared for were not excited at all about having someone to come in to sit and to care for them but it took a short while for them to look forward to my arrival and they hated to see me leave. I have cared for people of all age groups. I have worked exclusively for the elderly the past few years. I have been a great companion to them all! I'm very caring, I work long hours if needed and I'm willing to do just about whatever it takes for those in my care to have a very meaningful experience! I do med reminders, incontinence care, meal preparations, and to stay busy, I will clean! I love what I do and have always done more than what was asked. My main objective with care is to help the family members of those in my care feel they can live their lives without worrying about their loved one in my care. They can feel confident that their loved one is in good hands! Those I have experience with had Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and I have cared for a quadriplegic! I had a young girl who was in a car accident and I helped her get her high school diploma and helped her walk again I am a 47yr old mother of 3 have 9 grand babies and I raise my nephew who had muscular dystrophy I moved to Ohio from Michigan to be near my middle daughter. I love to take care of people and enjoy being a care giver.

I have an associates degree of RN and have taken care of people with a wide variety of conditions. I am educated and skilled in the nursing field and believe it is my calling. There is not a time where I'm not wanting to make someone smile[?] I have the biggest heart and I wear it on my sleeve!!
