I have been a caregiver for more than 15 years. I am very reliable and dependable. I truly enjoy coming to work everyday and getting to put smiles on my clients faces even when they are having a hard day.

I am 30 years old. I've always loved taking care of any and everybody. I feel that you create a bond with your clients and they should be treated just like you would treat your own family members.

I first became a caregiver when my mother was sick with Lymphoma. I love to cook and clean and have a heart for helping people in need, so caregiving became the perfect job for me. I am patient and understanding and take great pride in encouraging and helping people reach their potential for a more comfortable day to day living. I love seeing smiles on people's faces.If someone is need of help I like to be the one to help them to assure they are happy and ok.I love cooking and cleaning as well as making sure every nutrition is taken in.I like to motivate people the best I can to let them know there potential and what they are capable of. The thing that attracted me to be a caregiver is being able to help someone who has helped someone there whole life and is now struggling to do it now .To be able to put a smile on someone's face and know they are taken care of. Nursing as an RN for 17 years. Had several back surgeries and retired in 2012 and now wish to return to work as a senior care provider. My nursing specialty was in geriatrics the elderly. Enjoy being around seniors listening to their stories and helping them with their personal care and their home cleaning needs. Willing to work weekdays weekends and holidays. I have no restrictions on availability. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record as well as a clean background check, and am willing to transport clients to doctor appointments and grocery store needs. Some traits that will help be a caregiver is I can sympathize with families I'm working with. I understand that moods change, attitudes change, mobility changes and memories change. Another trait is understanding and help how the patient wants and needs to be helped. What attracts me to being a caregiver is that my mother has a caregiver that comes into our home and I can't think her enough for being patient with my mom and understanding my mom and making her happy when she comes in because my mothers caregiver is neutral so my mom will open up to her and my mom will tell her things that she won't tell us that the caregiver feels that she needs to tell me and I just wish that my mom would be more comfortable telling me things, but I'm glad that the caregiver is there for her. And I'd like to be that special someone for someone else.. I think the one thing that I would enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to the stories the families telling me what makes them happy, and what I can do to make them happy. Personal achievements I'm proud of is never giving up.
