i feel i am a good caregiver because i am a joyful happy person.i wanted to be a caregiver for most of my life because i took care of my nana for a long time and then my dad.i enjoy being a caregiver because i feel like i'm doing something important and that matters. one achievement i'm proud of is that i graduated from cv tec for allied health!

I started working with people at a young age. I worked at a daycare for about two years and then moved to elderly care. I'm very kind hearted and a patient person. I love knowing that I'm helping someone's day become a little easier. I aspire to become a nurse one day and that is what I'm working towards. Ever since I started working in this field I love it I would never give it up !

Well I would think there are some who want to do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Being a caregiver can be a rewarding experience. If you have a good heart, and you want to give back to your community then this is a great way to do it. There are millions of sickly individuals who cannot care for themselves. Can you imagine the tragedy of knowing that you could have helped someone, but did not? Caregivers are there to help those who can't help themselves. Without caregivers those who are sickly or disabled would most likely die because they are not being cared for. As a result you would have upset family members, and we in society would have to live with the guilt of knowing that we could have done our part but we did not. If there were no caregivers then who would do it? Someone has to, and its a selfless occupation to have. Also many choose this path because they want to be a servant to the people. Being a public servant is admirable, and it should be encouraged. It helps promote more awareness, and it breeds compassion for those you don't know.My personal achievement is knowing I can help someone who needs a little or a large among of help, and knowing that he or she is safe hands. I am a mom a four and have be married for 30 years. I enjoy taking walks,hiking, helping others and spending time with my family

I am unlike your normal caregiver, with my experience under my belt I am achieving things others haven't. With 6 years experience since I was 16, I have been caring for clients of all abilities. I have worked in a rehab center and seen poor care, I was the sunlight in the darkness, and now I want to take caring into my own hands. If I could start my own business about quality care of life I would, as I have background with everything from teaching others to bettering the client I'm working with.
