I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I earned my BA from Spring Arbor University major Family Life Education. I am passionate about advocating for individuals in need and providing good patient care. I have worked in hospitals, assisted living, and privet duty home care for over 20 years. I am a caring and compassionate person and will alway work hard for each family.

My personality traits that helps me be a great caregiver is my compassion for others, kindness that I have in my heart , patience that I've developed as being an older sibling and babysitter, dependability, and trustworthiness. I'm a caregiver because I have a passion to help others. My biggest personal achievement is that I graduated this year with my Associates in Health Science and Spanish Arts. My goal is to continue onto Nursing school to get my BSN. I've always been passionate about helping others.

I've always had a heart for caring for others. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I can be of help to those of need. I have 10yrs of experience in the medical field. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships. I'm now in the field working one on one with individual clients, being able to give my full undivided attention to make sure I care for all needs required as well as giving that security and confidence that they are in good hands.

I am a warm, caring and compassionate person and have always enjoyed helping people, it comes as Second Nature to me, and I was both my Parent's "Right Hand Girl" as they used to call me. My mom worked for the Visiting Nurses Association when I was a young girl and back then she was allowed to take me with her to some of her clients, so that's one reason why I developed an interest in this type of work.
