I have been in the medical field for over 7 years I'm professional and proud of my accomplishments. I need more hours to be taking care of my family . I'm willing to do errands and spend quality time with a client . I'm willing to travel pretty far as long as it's gonna be worth it to do so, having a longer day with more hours makes my willingness to commute the distance so I'm open to travel. I also don't mind short shifts as long as I don't have to travel too far and have multiple short shifts is worth it to me I just need to make sure I can take care of my family my faith and my little girl. I'm open minded and want more clients to actually start getting hours.

I have been a care giver 27 years and have done everything from the range of in home care to nursing homes and hospitals.. I have experienced all types of patients as far as mental health, long term care, pre and post surgical care, telemetry care, special care , altimizers care and hospice care.

Kindness, compassion, and empathy are vital in being a caregiver. I feel that when caring for someone's family member it is important to remember that they too were once young, and spry. They deserve respect and dignity as if they were a family member of my own. I have been a CNA in the past, and spending those extra minutes to do a residents hair, or shave a residents face just the way he likes it is so important in helping them to feel like a person. I care for a close family friend now after my regular work hours because I enjoy spending the time with her and helping her with activities of daily living but also encouraging and supporting her in maintaining the independence that she is able to safely have. A personal achievement that I am proud of is maintaining my CNA licensure while working a full time MA job. I did this so that I could continue to work with residents on weekends when I am able because they truly hold a special place in my heart.
