I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I'm kind, have empathy and patience. I started out by taking care of my mother. I enjoy adding joy to someone's day. I took care of a couple in their home and was able to fulfill their wishes of staying in their home together until they passed.

I have a long line of care takers in my family so it's always been my passion to help people live their lives to the fullest. I would love to run errands, grocery shop, take you to your appointments, see a movie or just try something new.

I'm great listener, patient,punctual, caring, reliable, upbeat, positive etc. I love working with people and I get a joy of helping people with whatever challenge they have. There are countless ones but my pride and joy is when through my ability of empathy and caring I was able to give a different perspective to a depressed person from feeling suicidal and secluded to an outgoing and goal oriented person.
