I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I'm kind, have empathy and patience. I started out by taking care of my mother. I enjoy adding joy to someone's day. I took care of a couple in their home and was able to fulfill their wishes of staying in their home together until they passed.

Hi, I have a lot of experience with being a caregiver for the elderly. I have worked with hospice clients and also dementia clients. I have even worked with just assisted living clients helping with basic cares. I am very passionate about being a care taker. I am pursuing a degree in nursing. I have always loved knowing that someone's loved one is being taken care of. To me it's nice to be able to provide that break for the family so they can be family and not the caregiver. I love being able to communicate with family and the client. Also, I love the bond that it all comes with. You truly make a one on one bond with the client and it's nice to get to know not only the client but family as well. I foresee myself being in healthcare for a long time as it's my passion. I would enjoy being the person you pick to take care of your loved one. I'm more than willing to answer any questions that anyone has

I'm great listener, patient,punctual, caring, reliable, upbeat, positive etc. I love working with people and I get a joy of helping people with whatever challenge they have. There are countless ones but my pride and joy is when through my ability of empathy and caring I was able to give a different perspective to a depressed person from feeling suicidal and secluded to an outgoing and goal oriented person. Now that person works and lives in her own apartment.

I have always had a passion for Caregiving. I enjoy helping others and find a sense of rewardment and pride in what I do. My biggest personal achivement has been my Registered Nursing degree. I am just taking time to study for my boards. I grew up taking care of my elderly family memebers and knew from a young age I always wanted to be in heath care.

I have grown up around nursing homes and group homes. My mother was CNA when I was young and I always loved spending my days there. I enjoy working directly with individuals to make their day easier and better. I like being able to connect with residents and being able to enjoy spending time together. I'm very proud of completing school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Although my license has lapsed, I would love to go back and re-ceritify.

When I was around the age of sixteen my grandmother became ill, she didn't want to leave the comfort of her own home, since I visited her often to help her with her daily chores , she asked me if I could make it possible that she could live at home , without question I agreed and for the next ten years I helped her. In return the experience was so rewarding and fulfilling I knew in my heart that was what I was destined to do. The fact I could help someone remain at home and live some what independent. Certified PCA with 16 years experience caring for disabled and terminally ill clients in private homes. Communicate effectively with diverse clients utilizing patience , sensitivity and compassion. Strong problem solving , time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift and transfer patients properly , CPR certified . Accident free

I am kind, sensitive and caring. I am organized, personable and able to handle many different tasks. I enjoy helping people remain in their homes by providing the care they need to do so.

I been c.n.a for 17yr and I love doing this kind of work. One thing I can say is dis is my career of choice. I love take care of ealdy people.the most thing I like about my job is the smile I put on my residents face. I'm proud of when I come into work and my residents are so excited to see me.
