I have a calling & passion for serving those in need; especially the elderly population. My ongoing mission is to help them with continuum of life care their way, not mine. I'm committed to advocating and promoting their wants and needs on an individual basis. I've been a caregiver; predominantly in the private in home sector for 33 years. I look forward to serving many more years. I am thoroughly committed to providing & maintaing a safe and stress free environment for each aging client I purposefully love to be with and care for.

Nice to meet you all! Caring for someone is like caring for my own family. My fun and positive attitude would help me be a great caregiver. Growing up I spent a lot of time caring for my own family members. My grandmother had Alzheimer's, stopped walking and had Diabetes.I was able to give her the love she always gave me when she was able to. I also had other family members I cared for as well. That is what really got me started. Watching her kids and loved ones not want to care for her got me there. Everyone deserves to be cared for properly and carefully. I love knowing that at the end of the day I made someone's day easier or better. I know it is hard on families at times. You want to be there but may not be able to. So for me I am the fill in, the one who is there to ensure you are cared for and needs are met. I also am a mother and had a premature child. I love being a mom and wife and someone people can count on and trust. In life I have seen someone people go with love or care and that is partly what drives me to do the stuff I do today. It got me into hair, cooking and caring for others. There aren't enough people who care or have compassion for others this day in age. I wouldn't want myself, children or loved ones to be unloved or cared for.

I am compassionate. I want to provide care that I would want to receive. The kind of care that you would want your family member to receive. I am a Certified Caregiver, I also have a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification. I currently care for my mentally disabled sister in law. I also cared for my mother in law. I have excellent references. I am not new to caregiving just new to CareLinx.

I Feel that it is a Personal Honor to Provide the Compassion, Attention, and Daily support that is needed to Take care of our Elders as they have Cared for us. My name is Peta-Gay Pitter I grew up in Jamaica, I love cooking, cleaning and reading i am very observant, punctual and responsible. I was attracted to being a care giver because i grew up with my grandmother and when she became ill, it was my joy to return the favor she granted me as a child growing up. ever since I was alway over joyed to help others wh cant help themselves. I have just got my Batchelors Degree Education which is a big deal because i was the first in my family to graduate College.

I am trustworthy, patient, respectful, generous, and compassionate. The expertise that helps me to be a great caregiver is being a mom. Being able to help others is what attracted me to being a caregiver. Seeing the person, I help feel a sense of accomplishment, brightening someone's day, and just showing others that there are people who are willing to help is what I enjoy the most. One personal achievement I am proud of is that it seems my child is growing to be a thoughtful person by observing myself and others.
