Hi, Im Zakyah peferably "Kyah" and i have been doing caregiving since 2020. I find myself very caring, patient, and flexible, i have alot of compassion for helping others and definitely my elders, I am very big on trustworthiness due to me having great grandparents in their 80's who i also take care of when i can but as to me working i have to have a caregiver for them during the week , so i feel as if me knowing what i would want for the best care for them , showed me everything plus more of what i needed to do myself to be the best caregiver i could possibly be. Being with my great grandparents and being their caregiver and seeing how great i did with helping them inspired me to go into this feild and start helping others also, i enjoy caregiving alot. The thing i enjoy most about caregiving would have to be my confidence i always see the good in someone's condition or their abilities, i would also have to say being able to give back and help my elders , elders do alot throughout their lifetimes weather its helping others or just their daily lives during their early life, so i feel as if giving them the care they deserve is very necessary.

I am a caring and compassionate person who is detail oriented. I have a strong work ethic and 25 plus years experience in caregiving mainly with the IDD community in a group home setting. I sold my home recently and fulfilled my dream of moving south! I have 2 fully grown Daughters and 5 grandchildren. I love to read,swim, and go camping, as well as spend time at the beach Family is important to me. I love to cook and clean . I am passionate about helping others

With me being a caregiver, it has shown me that everybody is going to need help in life, so why not make a different in people's lives now since I'm young. As a child I always dreamed of becoming a nurse. My grandma was my inspiration in my career. She basically raised me while my mother worked two sometimes three jobs to make ends meet. When I was a young teenage woman my grandma fell an broke her hip, this took a major toll on her health. At this point I took on the responsibility to care for her after my school work was done. She passed two months later comfortably surrounded with family, just the way she wanted to move on to heaven. Caregiving brings me the upmost joy, to see the joy on some ones face after giving honest compassionate humble care is the most heart warming feeling.

I have always loved working with the elderly. My caring personality is best suited to caring for others. I also like caring for the elderly because they always have the best stories to tell. I always get alot out of caring for those that are older than me.

I'm honest and hard-working I do tend to talk a bit but I can get the job done as well I don't mind getting dirty I really enjoy helping people it's a calling I've been doing it since I was legally able to work and even before that my grandmother died of cancer I cared for her when I was very young and my mother has constantly needed some form of care I love being able to help people enjoy their lives can a smile on someone's face I am a single mother of four beautiful

It is important when providing home care that the caregiver is attentive to the needs and changes that are taking place. By being attentive, That I will notice when there are emotional or physical changes in the person that I am caring for.You enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others.
