I love being a care provider because I love bringing joy to those who have little joy left. I feel I have a great sense of humor. What makes me a good care provider? Love, I love all my clients from helping them dress to creating a good meal .

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

Others as well ad myself would say that I am a very outgoing and optimistic individual. I love to laugh and bring joy to others in any way that I can. My passion for caregiving began when I was a young girl. Always wanting to help others. The things I enjoy most is feeling and knowing that I somehow accomplished helping someone's day be better.

I believe the traits that help you achieve being a great caregiver are always being kind and compassionate, understanding, and do everything with care. I was attracted to being a caregiver at a young age, I've always loved to help people and when my grandmother got sick I was always there to help. It's just an instinct I've always had. The things I enjoy most about caregiving is the love that comes from it, regardless if the day went by smooth or if it was a bumpy one you can always go home knowing you helped someone else out. One of the main achievements for me at this point in my life is just that I make it home at night and wake up the next morning. Tomorrow isn't promised so just being here is an achievement.

I am a 42 year old mother of a teenage boy. I had a mother that died young at 48 that I took care of that was sick almost my whole life and I've lost my father as well so I realize having somebody to take care of you and help you when you need it the most means a lot. And I am willing to give it my all and be there for somebody that needs it so a son or a daughter oh whatever the case may be can have a peace of mind because that means a lot. I have a clean record I have never been in trouble and I have no issues that could keep me from not being the best that I could be for somebody. I do drive I do have my own license and I have no trouble taking anybody back and forth to where they need to go and being their friend that they need daily to make their day easier!

I just recently moved to NC from WV. I have 8 years of experience in in home health care with duties including but not limited to helping clients with daily hygiene, preparing meals, cleaning house, running errands for client and transporting client to doctors appointments and to run errands. I have also completed CPR/First Aid and the Temporary Nurses Aid course.

I am a very compassionate and empathetic person. I feel most accomplished when I can use my innate gifts such as nurturing, being patient and problem solving to enrich the life/lives of others. The most soul satisfying part of caregiving has for me been being able to provide aid by way of my skill set received, and be a companion for those who will most benefit from my loving energy.
