I have time and patience for each one of my clients. I strive to make each one top priority when I am with them. My mom and grandmother are nurses and I use to go to work with them. Seeing there patience face light up when they got to work was great. Then watch how they took care of each one. It inspired me to make a difference. I love meeting new people. Traveling to different places. Meeting the families. I am a people person. My greatest achievement is finishing college while raising a family and working.

Hello, My Name is Bianca Shropshire. Currently I am a student at Lorain County Community College for Minoring in Business and majoring in Computer Networking. My expected date of graduation is May of 2020. I began working in healthcare in 2005. I worked for The Methodist village in Elyria Ohio in Dietary But decided to make a career change to obtain my State Tested Nursing Assisting Licenses once I turned 18. After obtaining my Licenses I obtain a position on the Neurology floor as a clinical technician in which I performed slightly a little more care than what your STNA Licensed which consist of placing and removal of Foley Catheters, removing IV catheters, and Testing blood sugars as ordered by the physician. What our floor specialized in was post recovery for surgeries within the neurological spec, stroke, seizures, dementia, Alzheimer, neurological disorders, meningitis, and some Gastrointestinal care IE ileostomy, or colostomy bags. Being a caregiver is what I have always been best at. I love to be able to help others with just the basic needs in life that sometime we take for granite in being able to do on our own. One of my biggest achievements in life was becoming a mother and raising my children to be kind unto others and help where needed and that comes with rewards in life that money cannot buy.

I have been working in healthcare since I was in high school. I love caring for and assisting people. I fill my free time with volunteer work, coaching cheerleading and gymnastics, being the room parent at my daughter's school, and activities at the American Legion. I am going on my third year of college, and my third college as well. I am finishing up my surgical nursing degree at Marion Technical College with a Surgical Technician certification and a phlebotomy certification as well. I have spent time in caring for my grandmother while she was in and out of the hospital, and I will provide compassionate care to those who need. My job as a future nurse is to provide comfort and love to patients varying different health conditions. My ideal job profession in the future is to work in hospice as well. When I was younger, I had a heart disease and my life-long goal is to give back to nurses and patients with 110% passionate and sympathetic care.

I have worked with elder care for over 18 years. The bulk of my time has been with hospice care but I also have experience with Alzheimers, Diabetes, and movement disorders (MS, ALS etc) I will always care for you family as if they were my own.

I have been a caregiver since I was 8, I helped take care of my grandmother, I didn't go to school for this career but once I graduated and started helping my grandmother more I knew I wanted to be in a career that I could help others. As the years went on I have been in this career for 8 years plus if you consider me when I was younger. I also have 3 children and 1 of them is my niece and I have custody of her. I am so proud of the career I have chosen, I also took care of my mother that has lung cancer until she passed. I ma a very lovable and caring person.
