Hello, I am a excited to be your caregiver. I am an experienced HHA.I have over 20 years. I have worked and trained as a CNA,HHA with administering medication training. I also have over 15 years training in mental health, crises, substance abuse and forensic ( BCCF working with inmates) experience. I have also worked with intellectually disabled and have been trained. I love to learn and don't mind hard work. I enjoy cleaning and disinfecting. On a personal note, I have 4 children 2 girls 28,25 and a son 22 and another girl 11. I have one granddaughter 4 and boy she is a spitfire. My family is my heart, pride and my everything. My name is Sandie and I first started caregiving with my grandmother. I found that I like to help people complete every day tasks and be able to feel independent. I have some medical training in my background as I became a licensed phlebotomist in 2012. I am also a mom to 4 kids, aged 11 through 15, which means I am always taking care of someone. Helping my children to become respectable and responsible people is something I take pride in. It can be challenging at times but I'm always up for a challenge. I work at a nursing home on weekends. I mostly help out in the kitchen but I do like to be able to see residents and help make their day a little better in any way I can. I love to clean and do housework, which is something I learned from my grandmother. I am a good companion for most as I am a good listener and have a wide array of interests.
