Hello,I've been in the home health business for 25yrs. I'm comfortable and familiar with every aspect of care giving . I've never met a stranger a day in my life,I can get along with anyone. I'm a quick study and welcome learning something new everyday.

I am very dedicated individual with the passion and concern for the elderly. I have been working in the medical field for over 20 years. Currently applied to Nursing School . As a caregiver my main role is to provide excellent care to patients, as well as to assist with their daily activities, most of all to be compassionate in helping others.

I care about elderly, and have care for many family members. Also have cared for Alzheimer/Dementia, have had training in respiratory disorders. I have prep meals and help with bathing/ incontinence, light housekeeping. Bathing toileting assistance. Laundry , COPD, transporting to and from doctors/hair appointments

I am caring, empathetic, and quick to learn. I have been around all ages and have seen & experienced many different disabilities or health conditions. I tend to be a fixer. I know majority of the patients are probably going to be terminal but personally, I believe everyone in life is considered terminal. I look at things as if we aren't going to get out alive, so let's 1. Meet the necessary needs for each patient. 2. Let them enjoy the life they have left here with the people they love & by doing the things they love. I think for the most part when you have a heart that's keen to the caregiving industry, the most enjoyable thing is getting to go home with a fulfilling, "I did good for someone who truthfully needed it" feeling. But most of all, there's no story like an old story. I love to listen to them, to take in as much as I can but making sure I still fulfill my professional expectations while doing so. My heart is kind and ready to help or do everything in my power to keep these patients happy. Being that I am only 24, I don't have a whole lot of personal achievements that I'm beyond ecstatic to share just yet. But I think in this moment, answering this question, my most proud achievement so far is overcoming the life that I chose for myself. Overcoming the toxic family, overcoming my own personal self doubts or self worth. To feel like enough is enough some days & to know I am worthy of this life, to know God has put me here to do his work so He can sit back and watch is an overwhelming, gracious humbleness. It has been an honor to give care to those who trusted me to assist them. Each and every one I have been blessed to care for has made me a better person. There is seldom anything else that gives my heart the true fulfillment I feel when I am able to bring an individual comfort, joy and happiness into their life during challenging times. I am trustworthy, reliable, compassionate, kind, happy, joyful and loving. I am intelligent, work well under pressure, use good common sense, I do not carry my feelings on my sleeve. I understand the stress people go through during times of difficulty. I am patient. I enjoy music, reading, painting, gardening, nature, long walk and good conversation. I am flexible and always work around the family's needs. I own a horse ranch in Bosque County, that is where I live. I have been blessed with an incredible life and love caring and giving to others. I am very good with all types of animals. I get involved in disaster relief whenever possible and hold a current badge that allows me to work as an independent contractor for FEMA. To carry the badge you must go through a rigorous background check.

I thirst volunteered at safe care helping being a caregiver then when I turned 18 they decided to hire me I worked there for two years with six clients doing meal preparation, medication reminder exercises, outings and bathing. Then I moved to Whitney and started working with Divine Living assistance going to peoples houses and taking care of them also doing meal preparation , medication reminder, exercising, outings and bathing! I absolutely love what I do I love taking care of someone that can't take care of themselves and makes me feel good about myself and I feel like I'm giving back. I couldn't ask for a better life and I couldn't ask for a better job I'm very upbeat, kind, caring and funny.

I am a very outgoing but also reserved person that has always loved caring for my Grandmother since I was little. Since the age of 15 I have taken care of my (no 85 year old) grandmother. To this day I continue to learn and grow as a person because of her while I'm able to help her with her needs. I enjoy the experiences and conversations I have with patients, learning about different cultures, decades, and being able to really make a difference in other people lives.
