I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I have more than 13 years of experience working (full time) with individuals with developmental disabilities. In group, private residential, community, and classroom settings. Also in transportation. I have been told that my compassion towards them is extremely apparent. I am there for the individuals 100%. For their health and well-being but also for their quality of life. I also believe that promoting as much independence as one can have. When I have worked one-to-one or in someone's home that was where I felt I could make the most difference. I have worked in medically intensive houses as well as behavior intensive. I also worked for NYSOPWDD and am required to pass an extensive background check, which I have. I love what I do and have never been told anything other than I do it well. My heart is full when I'm caring for people. I get out of it what I put into it, if not more so. If I can make someone in my care smile, laugh or feel comfort, I feel like my day was a successful one!

I am a very compassionate woman. I understand that every person deserves individual care that meets their individual needs. I am attracted to helping a person live their best life as much as possible. I enjoy being able to make a persons day better by me being there for them. One personal achievement I am proud of is helping a former client, whom had cancer become stronger and more full of life than before I entered his life!

My name is Paryese Becker. I am a hairdresser and owned a shop in my house for 14 years. I've been married for over 29 years and have raised four children, When they went to college, I did also. I successfully received my degree in AAS and became a COTA. I also took care of my terminally ill daughter who passed away in 2016 from brain cancer. I have word four years as an activities director for an assisted living facility. Also, I have recently opened a coffee lounge .

I've been caretaking once I was 12. Mostly babies and toddlers but I'd like to expand my horizons to see if nursing is something I would like to do. I will do everything In my favor to relieve all necessary tasks. I absolutly love helping people and I want to body to feel inconvenient because that's what I am here for!

I have been a caregiver for 15yrs. I started off caring for my parents as they aged and then went on to work for an agency for a few years before I decided that I wanted to go on my own. I enjoy getting to know the clients and their families. I have several certifications in elderly care and am vaccinated as well.

I became a care giver when I was very young. I was blessed to have and know my great grandparents and grandparents. so as a little girl I began to take care of them because I loved them and because it came very natural to me. I loved the feeling of helping people and making them feel better and knowing that I made a difference. Just to know I helped them to be comfortable whether it was changing a bandage helping with medication making sure they got to a doctors appointment bathing them helping them with their p.a. just talking with them mostly listening (my fav) It never bothered me to sit with someone in their final days I knew they knew they were not alone. I have to say that doing these things are my personal achievements that I have done and want to continue to do. I have a huge heart and a tender touch and a lot of common sense . I'm funny and outgoing and love to bring my personal touch to ones life. I hope to continue to do my best and bring smiles and make everyone I take care of feel safe and secure. I'm a good communicator. I believe that being so makes things so much easier and helpful in everyway. I'm always open to change and to do better. I hope one day to be a recipient of what I have given to others.
