I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

I have been a caregiver for 15yrs. I started off caring for my parents as they aged and then went on to work for an agency for a few years before I decided that I wanted to go on my own. I enjoy getting to know the clients and their families. I have several certifications in elderly care and am vaccinated as well.

I became a caregiver because it is something I have always enjoyed. I have had an opportunity to work with all various ages and background and happy to say that I have learned a lot and still learning everyday. I like the relationship you build with the resident as well as just talking and getting to know their history, their story. I am proud to have receiving my certification. I am an ambitious goal driven strong minded lady who loves to work and get her feet wet in different specialty areas. Im currently in school to be getting my Medical Assistant certification/degree for next year April 2015. Then after I have goals to get my LPN which is a 10 month program. I eventually would like to be in a small doctors office or in a hospital setting to work with individuals.

I became a care giver when I was very young. I was blessed to have and know my great grandparents and grandparents. so as a little girl I began to take care of them because I loved them and because it came very natural to me. I loved the feeling of helping people and making them feel better and knowing that I made a difference. Just to know I helped them to be comfortable whether it was changing a bandage helping with medication making sure they got to a doctors appointment bathing them helping them with their p.a. just talking with them mostly listening (my fav) It never bothered me to sit with someone in their final days I knew they knew they were not alone. I have to say that doing these things are my personal achievements that I have done and want to continue to do. I have a huge heart and a tender touch and a lot of common sense . I'm funny and outgoing and love to bring my personal touch to ones life. I hope to continue to do my best and bring smiles and make everyone I take care of feel safe and secure. I'm a good communicator. I believe that being so makes things so much easier and helpful in everyway. I'm always open to change and to do better. I hope one day to be a recipient of what I have given to others.
