I have experience using the Hoyer lift ,catheter care, trachea care. I have also worked with paraplegic patients. I have experience in transfers, and Companionship. I become a caregiver when i started working as part time and i realized, how big impact my rules for the elderly who's in need of our care. I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.
