It is a profession that found me. It started with a next door neighbor I had once. She was an elderly lady and needed help with small things in the beginning and then gradually our relationship grew to the point where I was completely taking care of her and I enjoyed her company so much it didn't seem like a job to me. I fell in love with being a caregiver and the rest is history. My personal achievement would be going back to school and graduating at the top of my class. It's never too late to reinvent yourself. I've always wanted to be a caregiver/cna since I was a child . I come from a family that has multiple health issues & I've always wanted to take care of them so they wouldn't have to be placed in a nursing home/ residential care facility where they wouldn't receive the care that they deserve.
