After high school, I attended Maric college of medical careers. (medical assisting course.) After graduating, I worked in family practice as a back medical assistant. I continued my Education by taking an EMT course at Mesa College. From there I worked as an respiratory tech for a home oxygen therapy company. After starting a family, I worked as program manager for a senior congregant lunch program. I relocated from Ocean Beach to Oceanside and have been working as an independent contractor on several different cases. I love the work I do and I'm good at it. I'm reliable, dependable, trustworthy, outgoing and friendly. I have reliable transportation with a good driving record and can easily pass a background check. I don't drink smoke or do drugs... My name is Andrea! I've been a Caregiver for over 10 years. I received my CNA license in Virginia. I've worked with Dementia, Alzheimer's , Hospices, Other. My job description includes helping with personal care and daily activities. Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. Ensuring the client's home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. Transporting the client to medical and other appointments , Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs to family.

(Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.
