Hello, my name is Kat! I'm Dementia safe certified. I have experience with Dementia, parkinsons, bedbound, brain damage, physically and mentally challenged clients of all ages. I work great in all environments male or female. im a quick learner and a good cook (so I've been told). I have 1.5 year experience with caregiving (in home and in facility) and over 2 years of personal family care. i was named caregiver of the month at my last job. I have several referrals. I am looking for 2-4 overnight shifts a week. I have experience assisting clients in bathrooms, medication reminders, eating, companionship, bed bath, and personal hygiene thats needed! Since I moved here to Denver I have no work for child care. But before moving here I was working as caregiver with my grandparents specifically my grandmother. that's when I started enjoying working with elderly I learned a lot by my grandma she taught me a lot of things that I didn't know with her it was with diabetes and my duties were to be in charge of taking her to doctors appointments her medication home cleaning and learn how to remove and put on her prostate leg. I would have to drive her at least three times a week to get her dialysis because that's what she needed mostly and after she passed away my parents moved in with them so I was mostly in charge of my parents so there needs their food doctors appointments and medication.
