I have always had a desire for helping people especially the elderly. It's been a very rewarding career choice that I have always enjoyed doing. Knowing that I can help promote a person's well being towards maintaining their independence is rewarding to me. When I worked with a dementia client, helped to recall some of her memories through writing and reading exercises. My sister had many health problems in which; I encouraged her through daily functions similar to what she would do at home, helped with her transition from home to nursing home. Also, when I received my certification in nursing. I am a christian, loving,caring,devoted,reliable,efficient,responsible and love unity of family. My hobbies are reading, walking, meditate, pray, visit the sick and shut in, movies, love to volunteer my time helping those in need. I am a non smoker, do not drink alcohol, don't do any type of drugs. I have excellent references.

I became a CAREGIVER because I have a natural instinct to help others. I feel that it's a "Calling". And I thoroughly enjoy working with the elderly, and hearing their stores. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being recognized with a Heart N Hands Award for my service to my elderly clients. I moved from California to Tennessee in 2003. After working in a Distribution Center for almost 2 years, I became a CAREGIVER and have been employed as such for over 10 years. I have an outgoing personality and get along well with others. I am also a woman of Faith. My hobbies are reading, crafting, live theater, etc. I have alot of experience as a Professional Caregiver and would love to help with your loved one!

I love taking care of people, providing them with better life choices because I'm there to care for them when other times they may be afraid to step too far out of their home, for fear they won't make it back inside or fear of the world and people in it. I want to be there to give them that security blanket and secure them in their daily activities because I know they like to gain that self independence and do things more independently without having to sit around and not get what they wanted done. It helps to promote longer health and happiness from within. Something that so many take for granted. I love caring for the elderly and those that are less fortunate.

I have been a private duty caregiver for 9 years. I care for my clients the way I care for my family members. I love being around the elderly and helping them care for themselves. I've cared for Dementia, Alzheimer's, Dialysis, and hospice care clients in Knoxville before relocating to Hendersonville. I was also a substitute teacher in a special needs classroom. I dispatched for Knox County E911 (Knoxville Fire/Police Department) for twenty six years prior to my caregiving career. I' previously worked as an Assistant in a special needs classroom in sumner county. I currently have three senior care clients(Hendersonville, Brentwood, and Hermitage)

I retired in 2014. I loved my job and my patients, but the drive to and from Nashville became so time consuming on top of a 10 hour day. I volunteer at the hospital because I really enjoy helping patients and missed being in the medical field. I received an award at my job for being an outstanding caregiver. I really love caring for people.
