Hello! My name is Kimberly and I have years of experience caring for the elderly and patients with traumatic brain injuries. I am very compassionate about what I do and have a lot of patient and care to give my clients.

I am a very passionate when it comes to helping others and health in general. I can understand others feelings from their perspective. I'm very attentive and dependable as well. I was attracted to caregiving because of my nurturing personality. I also have family who's been doing some sort of healthcare since I was young. I enjoy being able to make others feel good as it makes me feel good as well. Working with people where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. I'm proud of the fact that I also help with caring for my Grandfather with Alzheimer's.

I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces from the help I give them. As a caregiver, I've learned to love and beloved by my patients. They teach me new things each day. I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. I like getting to no them about there families. I like to make them smile comfort them the best I no how. When I go home at the end of the day I no I have done a good job and every job I have work everyone love how I work and how I communicate with the residents.

I believe what helps me be a great caregiver is that I treat each person as if they were apart of my own family, I have a very warm and welcoming heart. I've always had a joy for caring for others, doing for others is part of being a good person. I enjoy the happiness that I am able to bring to someone's life.

I strongly believe in giving our elders the opportunity to stay within their comfort zone of living and having a companion to talk/walk with rather it's day or night, give a piece of mind to assure them they're not alone and set your worries free for some hours knowing that your love is safe. I became a caregiver because I feel like everyone deserves to be happy. I became a caregiver because I take pride in uplifting and inspiring other's while keeping myself positive and afloat to recycle love in a community. I love being a caregiver because the love you receive from caring for someone can help you be a better and greater person on a daily. A personal achievement I accomplished was to actually be able to tell my own mother no she can't smoke as I care for her cause she had 2 strokes and not feel bad about it because I know it's not good for her health. So while redirecting the consumers and giving them great advice on health issues comes from within.

I enjoy working with people. I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so. Its my way of giving back to the community. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I help someone recover, achieve the best in live possible with the physical and/or mental limitations they gave. And from hearing how thankful the patients and relatives are for the level of service I have provided.

I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.
