I've always wanted to help others and after helping with my grandparents, I knew healthcare was for me. I'm passionate about giving someone the best care possible, as well as, ensuring the family members know they can trust me. I take pride in my work and do what is expected, because I would want the same for my family members. I'll be attending nursing school in the fall.

I am a very down to earth, kind hearted person. I have always loved taking care of people, whether it be babies/kids or the elderly. I love being able to help people and it is very rewarding being a caregiver. Giving them companionship is so rewarding, especially if they don't have family/friends nearby.

I love working with elderly and help them and make sure they get to there doctor appointments grocery shopping and remind them to take there medications and help them prep food for them and help them with some chores around the house and make sure they have clean clothes and i enjoy helping elderly people out i helped my grandmother for 15 years of my life

I come from a life that was not easy so with all the little things I learned how to appreciate them at a young age .Thus being said I have had a natural compassion for kindness my whole life because I know that happy feeling when you get cared for or appreciated which makes it easy for me.What attracted me was just not having much family so taking care of people made me feel like I was part of a big family.I just love all the wisdom you can take in from all the different lives people have lived. I have been caring for people my entire life from the age of 10 when my mom became ill I care for my 6 siblings. I have worked as a nursing assistant, Hospice aid, Dialysis tech and the past 7 years as an activities assistant in a nursing home/ rehab. As a child my Great Aunt and Grandma lived with us until they pasted away, most recently I took a leave from work to move in and care for my Dad so he could pass away in his own home. I am a caring, loving, understanding and paient person who enjoys the company of a variety of ages and personallities. I was also a toddler teacher at a headstart program which I truelly enjoyed. I am a single mother of 3 grown children and the Grandmother of 9 . I am very active and enjoy camping, biking and hikes with my sibling, neices, nephews, children and grandchildren. I have a dog named Willie who has been working with me at the nursing home for 4 1/2 years and has been a joy to many of the Residents.
