I'm kind, have empathy and patience. I started out by taking care of my mother. I enjoy adding joy to someone's day. I took care of a couple in their home and was able to fulfill their wishes of staying in their home together until they passed.

I have been in the healthcare field for 25 years. I enjoy working with all types of disabilities and ages. I am hardworking and like to go above beyond to help clients in my care.

I am currently working for a company where I am a caregiver for individuals with disabilities in their home. I have experience with cooking, bathing, dressing, administering medications, going on outings, running errands, and more! I love the relationships that I am so grateful to gain from caring for individuals who need extra support, assistance, or even just companionship.

I relate well to people, I'm very down to earth and easy to talk to. I did healthcare in high school & after I had my first child. I've worked in an Emergency Room as a PCA/HUC. I was an EMT on my local ambulance for 5 years. I also was a health assistant for 5 years assisting the school nurse.

I have always had a passion for Caregiving. I enjoy helping others and find a sense of rewardment and pride in what I do. My biggest personal achivement has been my Registered Nursing degree. I am just taking time to study for my boards. I grew up taking care of my elderly family memebers and knew from a young age I always wanted to be in heath care.

I have grown up around nursing homes and group homes. My mother was CNA when I was young and I always loved spending my days there. I enjoy working directly with individuals to make their day easier and better. I like being able to connect with residents and being able to enjoy spending time together. I'm very proud of completing school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Although my license has lapsed, I would love to go back and re-ceritify.

When I was around the age of sixteen my grandmother became ill, she didn't want to leave the comfort of her own home, since I visited her often to help her with her daily chores , she asked me if I could make it possible that she could live at home , without question I agreed and for the next ten years I helped her. In return the experience was so rewarding and fulfilling I knew in my heart that was what I was destined to do. The fact I could help someone remain at home and live some what independent. I been c.n.a for 17yr and I love doing this kind of work. One thing I can say is dis is my career of choice. I love take care of ealdy people.the most thing I like about my job is the smile I put on my residents face. I'm proud of when I come into work and my residents are so excited to see me. ELSY A JOB WORKFORCE COUNSELOR. TOOK A JOB ASSESSMENT TEST. MISS ELSY RETURNS THEN ASK,WHO ABOUT BECOMING A NURSING ASSISTANT. THERE'S A NEED FOR MALE CNA'S.NEVER HEARD OF THIS TITLE BUT MISS ELSY BELIEVED I'LL BE GOOD FOR THIS. SHE SENT ME TO SCHOOL AND WOW HOW MY EYES WHERE OPEN. I WAS HURT BUT BECAME INSPIRED ALL AT ONCE.I WISHED I KNEW THIS WHEN MY OLDEST BROTHER HAD A STROKE AND MY MOTHER BECAME VERY VERY SICK.I WAS GIVEN A OPPORTUNITY TO HELP ELDERS AND THOSE WHO NEED ASSISTANT WITH THEIR DAILY LIVING, A CHANCE TO UNDERSTAND AND STOP BEING DOWN ON MYSELF FOR NOT KNOWING HOW TO HELP MY BROTHER AND MOTHER.
