My name is Linda. I have 2 grown children, a cat and a dog. My background is 20 + years of working in Social Work to help people succeed and live their best lives. I have been a caregiver for the past 10 years until the couple recently passed. Basically, I Love people!!! I am an optimist and keep a positive attitude. I love to help people. I have many achievements on a professional level but feel my biggest achievement is raising 2 well adjusted children with huge hearts. They are kind and would help anybody. I love animals and plants. I grow herbs, vegetables, and lots of flowers. Additionally, my house is full of houseplants. Additionally, I am a music lover and enjoy many types of music. My family enjoys playing all types of board games and cards. Additionally, we enjoy nature, these beautiful mountains we live in, the beach, and traveling to explore new places. Photography and arts and crafts are some of my hobbies.

I have extensive experience (15 years) supporting clients (male & female) with all elements of support (ambulatory, non-ambulatory, dementias and hospice). I'm dependable (never missed a day of work, including 24/7 shifts). I am in excellent health (never smoked, drank or had taken drugs), have a strong back, able to assist with lifting, current on all vaccines and TB test, drug tested, CPR/First Aide certified, no criminal record, clean DMV record and fully insured. My key mission is to provide hope, improve quality of life, preserve dignity and produce value for each client, as well as their family members. My passion is to see others thrive. My s24/7 alary depends on number of persons supported and actual hours of hands-on care. I'm a very social person. I enjoy helping and being there for others. I'm caring and take my job seriously when it comes to my clients whether it be the family or the client themselves. I enjoy the outdoors and going for walks and of course listening to my clients talk about what they like. I also enjoy engaging with my clients in games for cognition. I've worked with clients who have Alzheimer's and/or Dementia for over 14 years as a Memory Care Director and caregiver and have enjoyed every moment. I chose to be a caregiver because I wanted to have that one to one time with a client. I've met some wonderful families and clients over the years and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they see their loved ones enjoying life again. The one achievement I am proud of is when I took the first step into becoming a Memory Care Director/Caregiver. My life has only been blessed because of the choice I made.

I've always been one to care for others. My empathetic nature makes its a natural experience. I am a detail oriented person, which I find to be necessary in this field. I decided to get my CNA as a way to exercise my abilities to be a caregiver to others. I have since begun other ventures in life, but still hold a special place in my heart for caregiving

I am a breast cancer survivor. Going through that experience (chemo, surgery, radiation) gave me a perspective I had not previously experienced. The reason i love being a caregiver ia because i love to hear from my clients thank you and what will i do without you. I love putting a smile on their face and as well. I treat my clients just as I wanted to be treated .

I would be a good caregiver because I have helped my mom recover from different types of surgeries and know what to look for and how to help appropriately. I've also helped my father through various stages of cancer. Sometimes helping means just being there to help or smile

My experience as a caregiver has included private home care, volunteer hospice service, taking care of my own family members, and working professionally in a skilled nursing facility as an occupational therapy assistant. I love helping people reach their goals and accomplish tasks that are meaningful and important to them.
