Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am an excellent worker, friend, and companion and I hope to get the opportunity to show and express it to you and your loved one(s)!

I have been a cna and home care worker for over 20 yrs. I enjoy helping people and careing for elderly. It has to be one of the most rewarding jobs next to being a mom in the world. When I can be there to either help them in everyday needs all the way to the final days of life. I'm a retired LPN of 15 years active status. I possess excellent references, own a reliable vehicle and am in great health at 55. I am joyful, dependable, positive and communicate well with family members and medical professionals.

I started my career in health care in 2005, I am compassionate and reliable. I have experienced a lot in the last 13 years related to this field. I have experience with Alzheimer's, prosthetics, medication administration, colostomy, trachs, just to name a few.

I have been doing Home care/Assisted Living for on and off about 10 years, I did Home care before I went to college to get my certification for home health aide and have been working in assisted living since 2013, I just recently went back to home care. I love the one on one interaction and love helping others in their own home so they feel more confident and comfortable. I have memory care experience also.

I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament. What I am proud of most is all the positive feedback from families as well as co-workers, managers included, about how great I am and how lucky a place or family is to have me. I have many personal achievements but the one I am most proud of, is I will ALWAYS and forever as long as I am caring for loved ones of my own or others, put quality over quantity. I have learned that people need good care no matter the life span, young or old.

I like being a caregiver because I am kind and caring. After taking care of my father, I felt compelled to join care giving as career. I enjoy helping people, especially the sick. I feel motivated when I see clients recovering or able to reach the end of life comfortably.
