I am a dependable and loving care giver of 13 years. I'm honest and also reliable. I am in nursing school to further my career and I love helping people.

I became a Caregiver because I needed the certification for another job that I thought I would be well suited for. I thought I would fair out well as a Lab Tech for one of the local mental hospitals. Not long after I'd graduated from the CNA program and had begun working as a Lab Tech in the hospital clinic, I discovered the hospital was due to close in less than a year ; there were no openings at any of the sister branches. I took a job with a visiting nurse agency as a Phlebotomist / CNA. Although they had more CNA work than Phlebotomy, I needed a job and lacked experience. The job also offered a year long course in disease management coaching and had good benefits. As time passed, I began to work in other areas of caregiving to see what my specialty might be and decided I liked working with seniors; they seemed to have tons of life experience and didn't mind sharing it ( I often found myself wondering if should've been paying them for all they taught me - important things about life I never even thought of !), They seemed to really appreciate anything I did for them. I find the intrinsic value of serving the elders rewarding. Since discovering what my passion is, I've done nothing else.

I am an outgoing reliable person. I am always there for my clients when needed. This is truly my calling in this world. The most important thing from this job is the smile your clients give you when you arrive.

Well hello everyone! My name is Readina but all my residents call me Ree, it's easier for them. I always wanted to be in the medical field. First a surgeon, than an RN. So I started at the bottom and became an CNA. I been an CNA since 2013 and I absolutely love it. While working as an CNA I achieved becoming an CMA ( certified medication aide ) I can pass medications through the state of NJ. I did take the state test so I'm legit. Lol. I'm going to further my career and do my LPN course within the next year. Looking for a school as we speak. I really connect with all my residents it's not just a job for me, I care for them like they are my own grandparents or parents. I feel very honored to work with the elderly, you learn from them and I'm always learning something new. They really make my day, I wake up wanting to come to work. I'm very reliable and dependable and I rarely miss work, it has to be something tragic for me to miss work. Again, I think I would be the perfect caregiver for any family. I love helping people who are incapable of helping themselves how they use to. My mother being a nurse and her love and passion for what she does attracted me to caregiving.
