I am a dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA/CNA) with over 15 years of experience as a caregiver and have provided care to individuals in different settings. I value integrity and compassion as key in pursuit of my career and strive to achieve this with the principle of treating people how you want to be treated. I started caregiving as part time while in college and it turned out to be a humbling and rewarding career for me. Humbling in way that it has made me to appreciate life, and rewarding for being a part of making someone's life better.

Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I'm a great caregiver I try an do everything the client needs me to do plus some. I try an be the best I can to turn the client mood around if they are in a bad mood. I love what I do everybody keep asking me to go back to school to be a nurse but then whos going to do my job.

Currently working in a outpatient clinic as a Certified Hemodialysis Patient care Technician providing hemodialysis under the supervision of a RN.

I'm an experienced competent, kind, patient nurse and had been working in the nursing field for 20 years now abroad and in here, USA. I treat my patients like they are my own family. I am both empathetic and sympathetic. I gained all my skills from the long years of my experience. I am extremely hardworking as they said but for me it's not about the hours or pay that matters but how my patient feels aside from the professional care I rendered. I am always happy to be of help. I am a great caregiver because I want to make sure the person I'm caring for is happily satisfied after I'm done. I became a caregiver because my purpose on this earth is to take care of people. The most important thing about being a caregiver is to also be a companion and to listen. I have personally achieved the honor of being consistent in this field for 30 + years. I still feel the same way about people now as I did when I started 30+ years ago.

I like to believe that I'm a very nice person and very easy to get along with. I'm always there to help anyone in need. I'm hardworking and I try to always make sure that everyone of my patients are satisfied to the best of my ability. I've always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl, then I sat with my grandma as she passed and ever since that day I've really pushed myself to be in the health field. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping out people who need help and making sure that they're happy and taken care of. A personal achievement I'm proud of is pushing myself to get my STNA license so that I am one step closer to becoming a RN one day.
