I am a fun, laid back, compassionate person. I am a believer that being professional does not mean not having fun or enjoying your job. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I enjoy making people's lives or even just days better; that is one of the things that gives me the most sense of accomplishment. A personal achievement in proud of is my perseverance as a mother. Being a mother turned my whole life upside down and it has been a hard journey. But as my kids get older, I can see my efforts paying off and I'm really proud of myself for the way I've raised them, because this is the most important job of my life. I have been Working in healthcare for 7. I knew taking care of others was my calling when a close family member became ill with cancer and I took care of her up until she passed. Another reason I enjoy starting my homecare business is because I always wanted to be the one to take care of my grandmother. I believe everyone deserves a great caregiver. I'm a mother of two amazing children. I'm a very patient and caring person who has a lot of experience assisting individuals with their daily routines. I first got into the field through my cousin who worked with mentally and physically challenged individuals of all ages when I was younger. I did that for many years and loved it. I then moved into early childhood education and worked for Headstart and a few daycare businesses. I started working specifically with seniors when my grandmother unfortunately became ill and I was one of her caregivers until she passed away. Since then I've worked in the field and have met a lot of incredible people. Sometimes I have to go from individual to individual depending on the company I'm working for and have always had good compliments and have always been requested back by them because of my outstanding job performance. My kids are getting older and I'm able to focus more on my career now. I look forward to meeting future clients and being able to assist them in anyway I possibly can to make things a little less stressful and to put a smile on their face.
