To me giving care is a calling, also I like treating our seniors the way I would like to be treated when I become one.

I am a patient caregiver who understands and meets the needs of a client. I strive to make my clients' lives a little easier by directly and positively impacting their quality of life. I most enjoy jobs that offer one on one interaction. I pride myself in offering exceptional care to the elderly and their surroundings by making sure they live in a clean and comfortable environment.

I am a CNA with more than ten years of experience working as a caregiver. I am a loving, honest, kind, reliable, dependable, and caring person. I enjoy caring for the people and help them to enrich their needs. I have cared for people with Dementia,/Alzheimer , Spinal cord injury, ALS, Parkinson's , Deabetic & cases that comes along with aging. I also cared for people with developmental disabilities and worked with children in a day care settings. Along with giving care I do light housekeeping, laundry, run errands and doctor's appointment. Caring for people is my passion. It makes me happy to see that the persons needs are met.

I have over 10 years experience as a caregiver. I have worked for home health care agencies as well as private clients. I have also worked as a live in care giver. In my career as a caregiver, I have worked with clients with various conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, diabetes, cancer treatment, hospice. I enjoy working as a caregiver because it is a rewarding job. I get satisfaction in knowing that I was able to be of help to my clients in their time of need. It gives me joy hearing my clients appreciate the help am able to offer. I am very observant and pay attention to detail, because of that, I am able to offer recommendations to my clients and aides that will make their everyday living easier. I am kind, patient and I take care of my clients as I would my own family or as I would love someone else to take care of my family. Most of the families I have worked with over the years are now part of my family.

I pay close attention to detail, as everyone is different. I took care of my blind sister in law and my aging mother in law and developed the desire to help people who used to do things for themselves but can no longer do it. It gives me satisfaction to see them live fulfilled lives despite needing help.

I love playing the piano. I am a cook by profession. Providing care to people who cannot take care of themselves by showing empathy,compassion,reliability and patience. One of my personal achievements is seeing a patient improve under my care.

I have a heart for humanity and would proudly say that my best moment was when one of my former bosses referred me to my latest job as she trusted my way of handling clients. I will proudly say that I'm a patient gentleman and Patience is a great way to derive success in many aspects of life. Having in mind that caregiving can be challenging sometimes, I derived success in caregiving by exercising patients and kindness towards my clients. I started caregiving by taking care of my own mother, when I saw how happy she feels by having me around, I felt blessed doing it and when she passed, I extended the same compassion to others. I really enjoy it when I notice that I have made a positive impact on the life of my client; I can remember being called God sent by the wife of one of my clients; the gentleman returned home after spending months at the hospital and rehab, he lost his ability to walk and speak. after I was called in as a caregiver, he regained his mobility and speech because we had to engage with him not just as a client but as a loved one...

I am a people person and love taking care of people. At the end of the day, it makes me feel good to know I helped someone else. I tend to go above and beyond for others, it comes natural for me. Going through the training to become certified has been a personal achievement, I was nervous at first, thought it would take forever. When I finished the training and became certified I felt great, because I could continue taking care of others. I am Covid-19 vaccinated.
