What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that it's my calling and what I'm passionate about. It comes very naturally for me after being in this profession for over 30 years. I'm a fun, easy going, efficient, responsibility, organized, positive person. I am college educated, wore many hats in life and in my professional experiences, and I have worked great with elderly as well as children in care taking over the past years. I'm patient, kind, hard working, clean, and very grounded and balanced person.

I started caregiving when i was 16 because I wanted to one day become a nurse which is what i will be going to school for. I am very compassionate and caring which is what drew me to this field. I always loved the idea of being able to make a difference in someone else's life. Being able to care for them and overall be there for them is what i love to do. I always try to build a connection with them because i believe thats most important for there to be trust and an understanding. A personal achievement that i am proud of would be going for further education.

I worked as a CNA for 16 yrs (3 years as a PCW) until I went back to school for my associates in Medical Administration. I went into the field as I love taking care of others. I find it to be very rewarding, like no other career. Helping others with daily life skills, no matter what it is, brings joy to my life. Knowing I make a difference feels good. I am very professional as I have worked in the field for such a long time. I am sensitive to a person's needs as well. It is very important to me to that the client/patient is taken care of as well. At some point in our lives we all will require help. It is so important that we remember this as we care for another in need. I am looking to work the overnight shift 2-3 nights per week or 5-6 shifts in a 2-week pay period. I am available to work between 7p-9a. I am also willing to work longer shifts up to 15 hours per shift. I would like to stay around 30 per week as I am enrolled in an online Medical Transcription course presently.
