My name is Leslie and I am 31 years old. I have experience working with elderly patients in the Santa Clarita Valley for 7 years. I have gained a lot of experience in the field in regards to different patient's needs. I am passionate about assisting and performing quality care.

A broad-based experience includes working with both male and female clients as well as couples.

I am a trusted and professional person who could readily adjust, learn and communicate, patient and persevering in dealing with people. I'd like to be of service to the elderlies and families who needs somebody to take care of them and treat them as my own relative or a new friend. My experience has taught me patience and compassion for individuals afflicted with mental and physical disabilities requiring assistance with daily activities. I am able to handle patients who are ambivalent about their need for outside help and understand the psychological stress individuals face when having to give up their independence and need to rely on others. It is especially rewarding knowing my work is making a difference in people's lives.

Besides experience and knowledge I acquired from nursing school, helping others has always been my passion. I find joy and fulfillment knowing I make a difference in someone else's life. I am patient and willing to adjust to the needs of my clients. I try to put myself in their shoes, to try and understand them. I treat my patients with love and respect, and with dignity, just like how I would want to be treated if I was in their same situation. Since I was a young age, I have always been interested in helping other people. I enjoy helping others who have trouble helping themselves especially the elderly. I completed my vocational nursing studies in 2012 and it was at that point I realised that helping people is my calling. I love that being a caregiver, you can make a difference. It's a rewarding experience providing care and assistance to those who are no longer able to do so and to know that I have done my job right when I see smiles on their faces. The moments that make me most proud of as a care giver is when I see my patients doing well, seeing their happy faces.

I have always been a caregiver it is my calling . I found care giving when I was in the Navy helping my fellow enlisted families Here and there. I really enjoy caring for others and meeting new people so it's not a job but my way of life.
