Hi I'm Heneretta aka Retta I'm 24 and I've been doing caregiving for five years. I love it hands down. Definitely one of the best jobs I've had. What makes me stick out as of Caregiver? is my personality, my patience the respect I have for my elders and me just being a genuine human being. I'm very passionate about caregiving. I would like to move forward and getting my CNA as soon as possible. I'm a mother of two. I have a beautiful daughter that's 9 months and a terrific son that's seven. They're who I enjoy spending my free time with.

As a personal care assistant I will provide all client with the physical daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing , getting out of bed, standing or exercising. Ensure client received appropriate diet by reviewing their daily restrictions food , allergy and Preferences. Helping client maintain a stable peaceful experience and to build a strong relationship with me as a personal care assistant as always been my Goal . I enjoy helping others and making a different in someone live who is incapable of doing so for themselves is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver.

I'm patient, I listent to my patient because by listening to them, I can provide them with what they need. My grandmother attracted me of being a caregiver because when I was a little girl she used to take care of me, when she get old, she became a little girl who needed someone to take care of her at that time, I couldn't be there for her but I come to realization not to take this life for granted, while I can help someone who needs me, I have to do it in the best possible way, and there are a lots of amazing grandmas and grandpas out there who needs me. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is known I'm helping someone who used to help others and now that person is needed for someone help, and that someone happened to be me. Hi, I currently provide independent living skills, dementia care, hospice care, nanny, housekeeping, companion care, transportation, senior and home health care services. I have been providing senior care since 2000. My education includes being a current LPN, Bachelors in Social Work, addiction counselor for 5 years and Masters in Human Services. Integrity,Accountability,Diligence, Perseverance,Discipline, and my caring heart makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver after I meet a lady ten years ago with cancer she had no family I would take time out my day to go shower her to cook and feed her and just to show her someone cares and show her love that would help her fight to see another day. The things I enjoy most about being a care giver is the joy,love,compassion, and life you can bring to someone. My great achievement I'm proud of is going back to school. I drop out of school taking care of my little baby cousin who at the time was 4 months my aunt was battling a mental disorder and the system was trying to take my cousin so I stop going to school to help her and later in life I went back and I graduate with top of my class getting my GED and also getting my certified clinical medical assistant, EKG tech and phlebotomy tech in less than 8 months because I tested out. Now I'm on the road to becoming a nurse.

I think being a caregiver is probably the most rewarding position I have ever had. Helping seniors keep their freedom yet aide them in other areas of need. Making them smile and sharing some life lessons that they have had. I have been in the medical field for over 25 years, and have always had a affinity for the geriatric population, and have over ten years working with Dementia, Alzheimer's a variety of ages, yet primarily late 80's or 90's. I am A CNA, and a CMA, with nurse delegation, Alzheimer's, Dementia and Mental health certification as well First Aide and CPR. English is my first language which I find very important when the client's first language is as well, so that we can clearly communicate, have the know how and skill not only to cook and bake, yet to know the client's culture and preferences and connect. Additionally if there are any pets, I am extremely pet friendly and feel they are part of the family. I am a self starter and work well independently, and as well with household, management, meal planning, prep, medication administration (multiple filling mediset's) . Keeping the home clean and tidy, while always keeping in mind my client's preference, privacy and to keep a flow and routine. I am skilled in a variety of mental health condition's while never being demanding, impatient, or inconsiderate of my client. I am only looking for P/T Work.
