I've been in this field of work over 30+ years . nursing homes, hospitals ,in home care and I've picked up a good deal of expertise along the way...this is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situation and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way, dependable, compassionate, & trustworthy working with elderly or disabled population .......

I'm compassionate, patience, emphatic, cheerful, honest, and treat people like they were my own family. I became a caregiver because i love helping others and l'm a good listener. Also when i was 18, my grandma needed special care, and i couldn't help her when she most needed it. so now when i have the opportunity to help others, I do it happily and feel like i were serving my grandma who i miss a lot. It's amazing when one get to know people and have the privilege to help them, and that's my main goal, make people who i serve, feel the most fine possible.

my personality traits are being loyal,respectfulness, compassion,honest and most important responsibility. what attracted me to be a caregiver was me helping others and make them happy with what they have accomplish with my help. My Mother had Alzheimer'.We had to place her in a Nursing Home because of others health problems.I know someone was always kind and respect my beautiful mother.And that is the only way that I work and provide care to the person I am assign to.I always try to make sure the person know that he or she is still very important.Treat people with Respect at all times.Do what I can to make them comfortable in their conditions.It is a Blessing to me that I can do what I do helping other. To be home with my children after school...I love it so much I've stayed with it for 40 years. Hello. I enjoy the company and friendships achieved from being an in home care giver. Being able to assist people with their daily lives is rewarding for me. As a child I didn't have grandparents and adopted my friends grandparents and doted on them with loving care. One of them I even helped care for in her home, until she passed in 2015. I am able to help with cleaning, medicine reminders, laundry, transportation to appointments/grocery stores, meal prep, bathing, dressing, restroom usage, beauty regimen, or anything that is requested or needed.
