I have been a caregiver for two years now, although I do feel that I have been a caregiver unofficially longer than that due to when I was younger I used to take care of my sick uncle before he passed with difficulties of diabetes, and my mother used to be a caregiver before she moved on with careers and I always used to help her with her patient. Her patient and his wife considered us family because we cared greatly for them.I had a patient for a long period of time who was an elderly woman and her family and herself loved me I was always complimented on the care I provided for her and her doctors told me her health inclined when she was in my care. She lived alone and was not too efficient alone to do things for herself so I pretty much did everything for her. I kept her company and followed up with her doctors and appointments while keeping her organized in which lead to my great recognition for being of assistance to her as her caregiver. I have worked with younger patients with disabilities and special needs. I have worked with a patient who has Parkinson's disease and was not mobile or verbal, he needed help with mobility and walking so I monitored his bowel movements and his eating I was more of aid to him because his mother was a retired stay at home mother so she needed assistance so I assisted bathing as well and keeping him company and assured that through paying close attention being that he wasn't verbal his needs were met as accurate as possible.

1.To help people that can't help themselves. 2.Feeling good within myself for being able to provide positive supports to individuals 3.Rising my children to be loving and caring to others 4.I am an individual who loves to work and takes pride in everything that I do. An important role in my life has been to care for others.

I have been a certified home health aide since July of 2008. I have continued to do home care and currently working for maxim healthcare now. I have worked with cerebral palsy, Alzheimer's, Quads, Dementia, Diabetes, Hospice, etc.

I become a caregiver because I am a caring person who enjoys being helpful to people. I take great pleasure in making people feel secure when I am around them. When I was scheduled by "Vising Angels" to take care of an elder lady who broke her hip 4 years ago, I felt proud to receive several gift card from the company for loyalty and recommendation by the client. I am a reliable, compassionate, flexible, and knowledgeable caregiver.

I became a caregiver so that I may be in a position to give loved ones great and quality care while keeping their pride, dignity, and self respect in order. I love being a caregiver because I have the pleasure of making all individuals happy and comfortable rather it being the end of their days (elderly or geriatric) or rather it being the beginning of their days (infant or pediatric) I just love doing what I do and not just loving to help people though that plays a big part of it. Hello, I am Marian I have been a Certified Nurses Assistant for quite some time now. When I first decided to pursue a career in the healthcare field I was working at a dead end job, later in life I gave birth to a son whom was born Autistic. I had enough experience to stay home and take care of him myself which was a blessing in itself. Through my career in the healthcare field I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, individual homes, rehabilitation centers, long term care facilities and more. I have met so many different people who were an absolute joy in my life, and me to theirs. Just when you think you are the best you can be at your work you come across someone who makes you a little more loving, a little more compassionate, a little more caring. Im not saying I am the best caregiver in the world, BUT I am one of the best caregivers in the world. I love caring for others, and I want to bring you peace of mind knowing that at the end of the day your loved one had the best care one could possibly receive, and was treated with dignity and respect.

I am a Certified Patient Care Technician, CNA-HHA with CPR through American Heart Association. I have spent the past 12 years helping people with anything they may need. I have a very soft spot in my heart for people in need... anything from helping them with cooking, shopping, driving to doctor's appointment, personal care, medicines reminder, as well as just someone to spend time with. I have been known to be the sunshine to someone's day. I enjoy helping others and putting a smile on someone's face is the best reward anyone could ask for! Thank you.

I became a caregiver because I took care of my great grandmother that is 87 years old and my grandfather that was on the last stage of cancer. I love being a caregiver for the simple that I am able to gain a relationship with the client and not only that I am able to help them out as much as I can. I have experience working with elderly and disable clients since I was studying Vocational Nurse at different healthcare locations , and also have personal experience with one relative of mine with Parkinson's disease . Most my student and work experience is with Home Health and care-giving and I feel there is a lot of help needed for people in our society and We as a caregiver full fill that need with a lot of compassion and responsibility

I am a great caregiver because I understand the client's needs and wants during this time of their life. I am very patient, dependable, honest, trustworthy and overall a nice/friendly person. Qualities that make me a good caregiver are having empathy respect, and being tactful. I chose to be a caregiver because i appreciated the care that was given to a family member of mine.
