It is very rewarding to me working and helping the seniors in making their life safe and independent as I assist them in their daily activities and health well being. have many years of experience.

Caregiving is my passion it all started when I was a kid all in just wanting to fix my grandfather who had dementia and PTS . I looked after him until I finished school . As so my mom took over and I went to Cali to take on my dream full time .. I have worked with asl patients , Quadriplegic , dementia, Alzheimer's, mental health as well as kids . I started off with independent care and later moving on to facilities as well as obtaining my med tech . Later on had to go back to take care of my grandfather and mom who recently passed away now I take care of my mom and moved her out to live with me in Escondido . Now I really would like to get back to independent care one on one. I love getting to know my client and all of there values in life it will forever be my passion. Last COVID test 6/15/24

I first started as a volunteer at a retirement home and saw how some residents with just a smile told me I made their day it's not a easy job but I enjoy every second of it .

I am a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Arizona , I am a friendly, out going person . I pride myself on being honest, and always try to go the extra mile to make the patient feel comfortable, and confident in my abilities. I do my best to try and make the patient's feel that they are truly cared for, and that they are an important, and special person.

I have been in the healthcare profession sense 1979 I have worked convalescent hospitals Board and Care Homes I was a supervisor of an alzheimer's unit which I had 13 girls under me and 15 residents I ordered all meds all supplies for the residents I interacted with their families past meds did incontinent care showers feedings hospice care catheter care administered insulin standby assist assist clients after surgery light housekeeping companionship and more I am licensed through the state of California and I am fingerprinted through Live Scan DOJ and FBI CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Bloodborne pathogens Certification .

I first learned that I enjoyed patient-care back when I was a medical assistant in a private practice. I enjoyed learning and caring for others. I became a personal caregiver in 2005, and since then I have been able to assist many individuals and their families. I have found that my love for patient care today is done at a more personal level because every individual that I have assisted has their own personal needs; some need help with recovery, while others just need comforting and care through their aging process. By assisting patients in their home, to keep their routines, help them with medications, or just the in the simple act of being a good listener, I have found makes the world of difference to them--I am happy to have made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of being a professional caregiver. Care-giving is an occupation which I have chosen and in many ways it has chosen me. My life has been influence by the many fine people of which I have had the privilege of knowing and providing care. Many of these individuals gave me the greatest gift that one can receive- their knowledge and experiences. I have a little more understanding of life and history as seen through their eyes. It has been a privileged to care and provide comfort.
